Deep-water corals in the Skagerrak (WWF) Using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), detailed mapping of coral reefs and other biodiversity "hot-spots" on the Swedish West Coast is performed, including investigations on environmental conditions, associated fauna, dynamics and threats to these biotopes. GIS is used for analyses and for producing biotope maps. High-quality video recordings are used to produce information films, aimed at both managers and the general public. |
